1. Marehan in :Gedo during the start of civil war was like you in Sanaag. Habar Gidir in Galgaduud. Xawaadle in Hiraan. Digil in Lower Shabelle.

Today Marehan in Gedo are like Isaaq in Waqooyi Galbeed, Majeerteen in Nugaal, Mirifle in Bay.

Marehan has strategically "benefited" during the Civil War which started in order to vanquish them. They have consolidated 100% in a teritory 85% of the size of entire Isaaq territory.
