Lets call it like it is, the better team won. I hate Italy just as much as the next person but they played the full game and England's strategy was to stay in the box for 120 minutes. To be honest I expected this to go to penalties, both countries are know to be defensive in knockout stages.

As a man united fan I agree. He's not a play-maker nor does he like to play up front even though earlier on in his career that was his bread and butter. He thinks he's an attacking midfielder but he's not really. He's a good shooter, a good passer but not during motion ala Ozil, Iniesta, xavi, etc. Basically a box to box player.
