xoogSADE,
Excellent post, excellent 8)
After all, even if your qabiil is on the WRONG, ain't no one from the otherside that is going to say:
"WAR wa XoogSade, nin miskiin oo wax gardaro sameyn."
All they see is a member of the opposing qabiil.
Such is the tragedy of qabiil wars.

'Abaaha ilmihiis 1 mar ayuu hiiliyaa'......when choosing the mother so if you limit yourself to a certain qabiil then that is trouble.
Re: One Thing To Avoid...
Xoogsade,
Gardaro in my book means when others step out of line and want my blood, my family, and my dignity, my home, and my being.
Besides, what business would your clan has with your wife for instance? Nothing right? She is not married to them. If your clan values your membership, they must pay utmost respect to your wife, after all, she is your dear son's mother.
Abdiwahab.
Nah bro, I have priorities set up in such a way that the wife must be/will be at the top before all else. I am not worried about what somali clan wants with my clan. HabarGidir doesn't care my choice of a woman. If by somali tradition men are what count in times of clan wars, then why would anyone worry about the wife's clan? Soomaalida waa is wada dhashay and women are never counted as enemies. You have to have fear and mistrust, and live in perpetual paranoia to worry about the wife's clan association. That is just too weak and too unsomali. I am using the clan logic here to make a point. Personally, I have no loyalty to my clan, and other somali clans are just on the same position as mine to me. I would wage a good war on all of them if the war is sanctioned by Islam. I support a war against my clan as much as I support war against any somali clan if the war is about right versus wrong, islamic versus kufr. Simple as that.
As for the somali saying which says a man helps his son only once and that is when he chooses the son's mother, the grandfathers who coined the adage never had in mind what clan the woman belongs to but they were talking about the characteristics of the woman.

Re: One Thing To Avoid...
Abdiwahab, That will depend also on what condition the qaaraan is being sought. If it is for someone's burial, I pay, if it is for someone sick, help with travel expenses, I pay, tragic event on some family and help for them to recover, I pay, other than those verifiable expenses, my money stays in my bank account. These are things I would do for all somalis and muslims. And many somalis do the same for others. They were collecting money for Muqdisho refugess the other day at work and they asked me if I could contribute and I paid what I could. The money collectors were nonhawiye.
Just because I am not into this clan bs saxib doesn't mean I back down from another somali clanist. Everyone gets what they deserve from me. If people want war, I give them a war. If they want peace, I am peaceful. It is simple. An Eye for an Eye. Everyone gets the treatment they deserve from me nothing less.

Who are you to label me a faker, Sacadnimada na iidiidey kartid, ina adeer. I send plenty of money to Mudug on monthly basis however, I refuse to invest in GM for now as long as the Ethiopian are in control and present in Somali soil.
God willingly, the orphanage will be in full order one day. 8)

Waxaas khuraafaad waaye Ismahan. Been beenta islaamaha cambuulada ku cunaan waaye sheekadaas. The same with Cabdalle iyo Cawareere Ziyaaro, never been to one as a kid in Muqdisho. They used to hold it in Cabdicasiis area.
Abdiwahab.
I am Sacad Reer Jalaf. And btw, I didn't say I pay QAARAAN but contribute when there is a legitimate reason for money collection the same I would for all somalis. And to be honest with you, nobody comes to me for Qaaraan Qabiil. They don't know me and i don;t know them. I wqill keep it that way.

Gamadiid,
Subaxanallah, why are u bad mouthing the Ziyaaro
Another Jalaf on SomaliNet, what an influx
Active supporter of the Ziyaaro, the one time in the year where Sacad used to come together where ever we were and used to meet to sort out who needed help, upcoming plans for the year, did some Quran akhriis.
Many a Sacad was helped out during the Ziyaaro.
ISMAHAN,
Abayo, don't tell me u sent money to those tuugo called Al Fuuruq. I make it a point to invest in my tuulo, every month.
AW loves his kids and wants them to be the future supporters of AbdiWahab for MP, Af-Barwaqo, Mudug.

Re: One Thing To Avoid...
Abdiwahab, I don't visit graves and if I were to visit one, it wouldn't be a set date. I also don't participate in events where some dead grandfather(or not) is remembered and revered. It is funny how each somali clan has some Awliyo grandfather in their geneology
Some clan must have started this tradition of hailing a man among their forefathers as Awliyo and the rest followed suit I think
Ask Gedo_Boy, he will tell you about Yaxya and Morif
