Case of i walk in, told ayeyoo is sick, then that Hoya is looking to leave asap and i'm like hey wth i'll come cos i know my mum doesnt travel without a mahram and everyone else has got more commitments.
I aint been back home in a while, still not confirmed but i'll see inshallah. I'll let you guys know how it goes.
Have a safe trip if u decide to go bro, and Ilaahay ayeeyo Ha Caafiyo.

Al-Bukhaari (1729) and Muslim (2391) narrated that Ibn ‘Abbaas (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “No woman should travel except with a mahram.”

Ulema differ with regards to what is considered travelling, i.e foreign country, local travelling etc. Laakin no doubt in these circumstances

According to Nobleman's explanation , a waoman would need a mahram if she were flying from Boston to London , and would be able to fly on her own if she were getting on a plane for the same amount of time from Los Angeles to New York ?

Not meaning to muddy the water here but the issue is not as black and white as some believe. Some scholars argue that an old (post menopuase) woman can travel on her own without the need for a Muxram. Others argue that groups of TRUSTED women can travel on their own.
Still, it's great to see a son accompanying his older mother to all places her heart desires. I'd call him a good boy if he didn't mistake it for sarcasm.
