Why do you think The Nomad left in shame?
He claims Reer Salaax, so if he in shame than he's not Reer Salaax. My speculation is that he was a Boon posing as a Reer Salaax.

Yeah we are divided in all ways, but we aint happy with any of that crap. Just like all ethnicities in ethiopia, theirs groups within an ethnic with the elite politicians doing damage to their own people.Murax wrote:Man fock that, I don't wanna share no linage with Oromo Man. I'd rather be more related with Cameroon folks than them
Be disappointed harre. Oromoos are happy with their Orommuma and African heritage unlike some people on here praying to have arab ancestry. Don't hate.. appreciate what you are as Allah created you that way.
Salam.
These are, after all, Somalis from Somalia....at birth their parents shout into their ears the name of their tribe ...
These r not like the ones who live with us around Harer or Dire-Dawa.
If u want to understand Somali mentality read this interesting book: Politics of Cain, by Hussein A. Bulhan.
You will find in there that sloganeering/claiming is the foundation of Somali nation;

You can put your data on ysearch.orgdawwa9 wrote:To all Marexaan males here,
If you happen to have the same Y-DNA sequence as me, I will publically apologize for bad mouthing your sub-clan for such an extensive period of time.
Secondly, any Marexaan male up for the challenge to show me his sequence will get a full refund of the test paid by yours truly.

Re: Genealogy
The lineages are very old, J1e for instance is several thousand years old, and dates back much farther back than Hashem, it dates back further even than Adnaan or even Qahtan or possibly even Shem.
Mind you, to identify a specific lineage such as "Banu Hashim" is possible, but for that it would have to be a very close match on the STR markers as well, like an 11/12 marker match at least, or better yet, a 34/37 or even 62/27 marker match on much more markers than the standard 12 they usually test for.
For instance I did a 46 marker test, and there are several men who match all but one or two markers, and even though I know my ancestry back 9 generations or about 300 years, these men are of English descent, and whatever common ancestor we share was from when Danes were invading and settling in England 1100 years ago, or even further back to the Jute invasions 1600 years ago. And that's with a 97% match!
This is about the same as finding the "Banu Hashim" haplotype, the level of detail. If two men both trace their ancestry to Hashim and Adnaan, and they match about say, 95% of their STR markers on a 67 marker test, that's conclusive enough proof that you could use it in court.

Great,
You have to sign a contract though, if we fail to match. The Marexaan SNET community will be prohibited from claiming Darood descendancy.
