Amelia, emotions aside, Somaliland like any other place has laws governing voluntary sex between two unmarried adults. This voluntary sex is different than being violated and videotaped without your knowledge or consent. You could be Virgin Marry as much as you want but we have two totally different things, again one being sex between adults with no rape involved and the other being violating someone's privacy for financial gains. Can you separate the two and address each separately?

You have got that wrong, there's no such thing as Somaliland code of ethics. This is Somalia NOT the West, We are Muslims NOT Christian.

THE ONLY CODE OF ETHICS THAT EXIST AND SHOULD EXIST IS ISLAMIC.

Hence if he was muslim as some people claim, then the code of ethics dictates to stone him to death since he has been married before. If otherwise he claimed that he was never a Muslim in fact, then again the code of ethics dictates to stone him to death for violating the dignity of Muslim women. Either way, he should be dead. Along with him, the un-married woman who involved in this should be lashed, and the married women should be stoned to death and this should signal that the dignity of a Muslim women CANNOT and will NOT be compromised.

Garbo are you kidding me! The reality on the ground is that this case is in somaliland jurisdiction and they will use their legal system. That's a simple fact. If you are saying their system is void sorry but that argument not applicable here.

Somaliland, Puntland, TFG and Somalia since its birth in 1960 chose to use human drafted legal systems. You can argue these systems are not Islamic but again the reality on the ground is that we can argue as much as we want but that will not change anything on the ground.
