Maybe for you it is. That is where we differ. Plus, I think you seem to disregard what I'm telling you, Somalia proper is prepared to hand over the keys if only Somaliland would take the driver seat. They're prepared to give up the capital and the entire organs of government. Wake up, even their jabhad's as cushitic rightly pointed out have their Emir from Hargeisa. :D

What is funny is why you'd even bring up positions?

a leader is a leader doesnt matter how many he or she leads. and you forgetting the fact that the so called religious leader controls more land than the tfg and somaliland leader put together. attacking well trained and better equipped soldiers with more funding than somaliland. so how can you say that we're speaking on 2 different things?

Nigga are you serious are you comparing al shabaab's leader to a president of Somalia or a president from any country for that matter?
leader

1.a person or thing that leads.
2. a guiding or directing head, as of an army, movement, or political group.

lol@cumar lol read bro I'm not advocating for such a thing. I'm just explaining despite the proposals to make Somaliland's government become the government for Somalia proper as well, and make Hargeisa the capital of Somalia Proper too, that it will not fly. It would not change the people's will to reclaim their sovereignty and the will to determine their own destiny. Some of us though would change coats if they saw one of their own as the president of Somalia Proper. lol

Samatr, why would I be angry bro. I've said it, the beauty about Somaliland is that it is a democracy and people are entitled to their opinion. :D So long as the majority are not position hungry, I can sleep well at night. lol I'd be angry if all Somaliland was waiting for was to become president of Somalia Proper too. LOL

Does the fact that Al Shabaab is on the U.S State Department list of foreign terrorist organizations not bother you, how could you compare the two, one can travel freely the other will be jailed depending on what country they visit.

Oh ok I see your point. You're correct somaliland is what it is because of it's shicib. When some sections where calling for a coalition with koonfur, the shicib refused and even today no somaliland leader can make a decision like that without the approval of the shicib.

Horta the way I see it, somaliland had every right to declare secession, due to the fact that there isn't anybody left who care's for governance in somalia. You only have to look at each and every leader since 91, they all pretend to come off as nationalistic and when they do reach the top position, they pocket as much as they can until there time is up i.e. abdiqassim, abdillahi yusuf, sharif and all the ministers in general. There isn't one of them who actually wants to bring governance to somalia and the ones that do are made foreign minister and some lowly jobs like that.

Guys isnt it clear now.
There is no reasoning with the kunforians, this is emotional for them, there is no logic involved.
Thinking about somaliland helps them sleep at night, it helps them ignore the shit that they are living in..
The ciil and xaasidnimo comes out as a result..

The funniest is when they use the religous argument, as if the birders of somalia are from the quran or sunnah..
 .

there is no reasoning with them, just keep your gun loaded and pointed at them, and work your way towards recognition.
We will get there by any means necessary.....
