What I still don't understand is why we're talking about the SNM in a thread dedicated to the Kacaan.Knight of Wisdom wrote:Based, don't waste your time on these lunatics.Based wrote:
How can you argue that SNM was supported wholeheartedly by the entire Isaaq clan, and then argue that the government attacked you out of clannism?
The government was repelling an invasion by the SNM, funded from Addis Ababa to destabilize Somalia. Once again, what country in the world would tolerate an armed invasion by a rebel group funded by your neighbor, a neighbor that not only occupies Somali territory but also one you just fought a devastating war against?
When you say Barre should have left, do you mean he should have acquiesced to the demands of foreign funded armed rebels?
Nobody is debating the fact that innocent civilians were unfortunately killed, but doesn't partial responsibility fall on the rebel groups that decided to invade Hargeysa and turned it into a battlefield? If they had an ounce of intelligence and common sense, they would've understood that, the mere fact that SNM took over Hergeisa and Burco was a wrong action by SNM and it's outcome would be horrible.

Why aren't they in the Somaliland section discussing the latest thread, "Siilaanyo takes a shit in oodweyne, says it's watery today!"
