I've been trying to associate more with Somalis as of lately and in doing so I've come to find out... Somali men aren't too overly concerned with looks! Yep, it's not high up on their checklist/requirements for a future wife. Sadly, I've also come to discover they do not like educated women. They seem to prefer women with associate degrees or diplomas to university/graduate/professional school graduates.

Walle, the amount of slack older Somalis cut light-skinned girls is ridiculous. She could look like a straight up busted xayawaan, but because she's light, some eedo will always be like, "Mashallah, waxaa tahay qalanjo!"

Most faraxs I've met seem to want a baby making machine and to continue their parent cycle of welfare fraud. I tell them I'm applying for grad school/professional schools this upcoming cycle and their faces fall.
