Beirut looks beautiful. Built by outside assistance and Lebanese, both rich and poor, internal and external residents. The city is divided among Sunni, Shia, Druze and Christian sectors. They are also the most racist of all Arab states; less so with the Shia. Sunni and Christian Lebanese are very condescending to Africans, period. Their women -- in their desire to look whiter than the whitest Europeans -- are so beige, almost ghostly transparent looking figurines and more on the plum side, which I find unattractive anyways.

You're acting as if Somaliland is a recognised country. It is not. It has achieved what it has with zero help from foreigners and no begging. Imagine what it can achieve as an officially recognised state that can do business. Not true Hargeysa was peaceful only after 1996 we had conflicts prior to that Hargeysa despite the problems it faces it has done a fantastic job the past 18 years, in terms of constructions.
