To me what makes sense is for Garhajis to abandon the secession project and instead call for the formation of a new Federal northern state with capital city in Ceerigabo. The northern clans could then come for a summit held in Puntland, Djibouti or even Jigjiga to draft their own local constitution and power sharing mechanism.

It would be great opportunity to expand Somali Government from Villa Somalia and AMISOM HQs.

Djibouti would also welcome the idea as would the new Ethiopia under Abiy. This is what I mean by Somaliland will eventually reach its maximum peak until it makes no sense what so ever and people naturally turn to Mogadishu for leadership and unity. This may be coming faster than I anticipated.

I honestly would not mind in the least if Muuse gave all of the top positions in the government all to reer Samatar so long as they are the most qualified for these positions. However the people he is putting in place are not and in fact are not capable at all.

Just some examples:

Minister for investment: has no qualifications or experience in the drivers of foreign investment. Zero

Finance minister: failed in his previous post and zero direct qualification or experience in budget management or taxation

Foreign minister: No diplomatic experience, aged, doesn’t speak any foreign languages and has zero connections diplomatically.

Defence Minister: no qaulifications and a former taxi driver from Australia

I can go on and on but is there really any need. The point I’m trying to make is that when we see the evidence in front of us it becomes apparent that these people are not the most qualified people for these roles. if that is the case and the cabinet is not selected based on competence and qualification then why is it lobsided to the presidents subclan. The only conclusion is that Muuse is really no different from people on here that you call “wild creatures”.
