Ogadenia
Now that the ONLF finally gotten their act together, it appears that the regime in Ethiopia is not going to last that long as people have predicated. And that’s good news. Because, I don’t know about you—but I was bit tired of the hit and run the ONLF was using against the Xabashi.Anyhow,where should we go from here?? Most importantly,we need to keep diplomatic channels open with the West,but do we have any major political leader capable of doing??

We almost there, its just a matter of time.
ONLF executive committee just had a meeting and this was their resolution
1. With the capture of Somalia by Ethiopia, the Horn of Africa has entered a new stage, which obligates the Ogaden people to redouble their just struggle and never yield to colonial enemy Ethiopia;
2. The ONLF executive committee congratulates and commends the Ogaden National Liberation Army, ONLA, for the successive battlefield victories and urges them to redouble the struggle against the enemy;
3.The executive committee also commends Ogaden Somali people, both inside and outside the country, for supporting the just struggle;
4. The meeting calls on peace-loving international community to take action against the mass massacres the Ethiopian forces are committing in Ogaden and to pressure Ethiopia to stop these terrorist acts against humanity;
5. The meeting calls on the broader international community to come to the assistance of Ogaden people suffering inside and outside the country, as a result of the continual droughts and displacement by colonial Ethiopia. The meeting urges aid agencies not to give in to the threats by the Addis Ababa regime to that they cannot operate in Ogaden;
6. The executive committee, in line with the previous resolutions of the front, once more warns colonial Ethiopian government and foreign companies against attempts to exploit the natural resources of Ogaden;
7. The meeting calls for efforts to counter and thwart colonial Ethiopian plan to smear the objective and the crux of the Ogaden struggle;
8. The meeting calls for the strengthening of the unity of the steadfast Ogaden people, as well as countering the enemy's tactics to divide them.
9. The ONLF executive committee calls for the strengthening of the cooperation between the ONLF and groups opposed to colonial Ethiopia;
10. The meeting has resolved that our fraternal people of Somalia should be helped morally and materially to enable them to succeed in liberating their country from Ethiopian troops that invaded it illegally;
11. The meeting calls on Ethiopia to immediately and unconditionally pull out its troops from Somalia;
12. The ONLF executive committee calls on the international community to bring pressure to bear on the Addis Ababa regime to stop its policy of territorial expansion and force it to abide by the ruling of the Eritrea-Ethiopia Boundary Commission;
13. The meeting denounces any terrorist acts, whether committed by state, individuals or by a group;
14.The meeting tells the international community that peace and stability in the Horn of Africa depend on finding a solution to the Ogaden cause. Therefore, it is essential that the international community pressure the Ethiopian government to accept the Ogaden people's right to self-determination.

Sadwiil,
The Wayane regime is the weakest and the frailest of all,especially right now.We should do as much as damage to make it more weaker then it is already.Lets just hope that our leaders know what they are doing.

Amen to that! ONLF should increase their fund-raising events in the West and any Somali who wants to inflict harm on the Woyane regime should pitch in.

Ethiopian have been sheding bloods for no apparent reason in Ogaden, in the past 60 years.Over that 60 years nothing has changed the ogaden issue is still unsolved,but we can change things now if we act upon it.I just hope that our people abroad act on supporting the onlf and doing everything they can to bring some sort of attention on whats taking place back home.

DANGIRL ONLF leaders do know what they're doing, if the struggle lasted this long they must be doing something right

Koronto91,
Right now i am in Europe visiting some relatives of mine,but i do reside in US.
Sadwiil,
I am not doubting the ONLF leaders,but sometimes leaders tend to not do what is needed of them.Its on us the people to make sure they put us in the right path.

Dangirl, Sadwill, Koronto and other Ogadeenis here, ONLF is winning and have caused the enemy real difficulties in the last few months, BUT we need money from all of us. I was in Southall (London) yesterday and my Reer Issaq friend told me to contribute £100, he said everybody is paying. I am paying today inshallah. Have you guys had of this issue?
