15,000 Isaaqs died in that conflict. The Somaliland government of Cigaal used inhumane and excessive force to subdue the Garxajis who were aggrieved at the way they were marginalized in the Somaliland political process.

This conflict caused more misery, death and destruction in Isaaqland than the limited anti-insurgency action carried out by the Somali Government of Siyaad against the SNM in 1988.

hy were sent to ethiopia in droves.

tuur was chased to xamar .

they were chased out of burco , arigabo n berbera just to name a few .

they lost the sl presidency.

they serendered unconsitionally.

they had to except cigaal as president .

now they r nothing in sl .

they been reduced to being cheerleaders 4 samaroon.
