KK,

Did you know that Luuq and Baardheere belonged to the people of Bay and Bakool? Too bad they became victimized by the landexpansion of Garbahaarey folks.

History is written, all looted properties will be reclaimed by their rightfull owners, including lands.

History is written by the victors.
if the marexaan can keep what they took by force.
history will forget that reer bay and bakool where ever there in the first place.

Gurey,

That website is owned by Raxanwein people. They haven't forgot, once they were military and politically organized and could defend their lands from not only other Somali groups but even Ethiopians.

''On November 13, 1896, a column of about one thousand Ethiopians once more threatened the town of Lugh on the Juba. Under the command of Dedjazmath Wolde Gabre and other chiefs the Ethiopians demanded the evacuation of the Italian garrison.'' Captain Ugo Ferrandi, however, held fast and rejected their demands, whereupon the invaders moved eastward into the the plateau region around Baidoba, flanking the Italian coastal possessions.´´

During this time Italy was preoccupied with its loses at Adowa and Lafolé so they couldn´t send reinforcements to Lugh.

He continues:

´But the Ethiopians had retreated after losses suffered in an encounter with Rahanwein tribesmen´

Robert L. Hess (1966)

Malaaqyada.. had big problem though they used to be anti somailinimo and wanted their own kingdom of like the Ajuuran.. that was the mentality of most of powers from 1600 - 1800s

The malaqs didnt only suffer loss of land in the barre reshuffle of provinces... Our Mudug was cut into two with out any reasoning calling the suthern half galguduud ... we can always speculate but do you know why duqa?

I always wondered why there were always internally displaced Eelaay way before the war even broke out. Ileen they were getting booted out of their own land, masaakiin.

what articles, show us please Laughing

Baardheere and Luuq are traditional lands of Raxanweyn people. They are mentioned in every historical data about the towns.

Do not worry about Local Jubba tribes, I am sure Gaaljecel and Sheikhaal will not be a pushover. For now Gaaljecel is stretched out from Hiiraan, Middle Shebbelle to Midle/Lower Jubba. From what I hear, the diaspora community of Gaaljecel is very organized and well connected with their centre in Mogadishu.

Landexpansion during Barre's oppressive regime will be rolled back, all traces of bililiqo whether pre-1991 or post-1991 will be erased.

You can never trust history for one very simple reason no one person can right a correct history because such a thing does not exist , as a muslim for instance i know the history on the Andulus in a very different way than the people who live in Spain. I am not wrong they are not wrong we just have different perspectives of things that happened, and when each of us writes the history of Alandulus we will stick to what we think seems real to us.

So i just want to say there is no such thing as truth-fact history to start with.
