The study also found that the greater the age gab between men and women(older men to younger women) the fewer the chances of having more children which means the pairing of much older men with very young female is purely out of “sugar daddy”/trophy wife pursuit.

no i haven't done research on that..but the interesting twist on that sits mainly on the female side...cougers per se. this is a trend not known to people of all social calibers before modern times. women were not likely to approach a man younger than her back in the days and even these days in some societies. my thoery squarely lays on the socio-economic state of a female...we are earning more now a days, and men who go for older women are more likey seeking a benifit of some sort in that regard....unless of course their just fulfilling some wierd fetish to be with an older female..but i'm talking in the sense of longer term relationships.

Essentially men are natural predators.They are instictively attracted to innocence, sweetness,gullability,youth of course and most importantly sex.Youthful girls appetite for sex thanks to boiling hormones tends to match the appetite of mens undying libido.Then of course there is the question of 'mid life crises' - men tend to go for younger girls when age is facing them in the mirror. It rubs and boosts their feeble vulnerable ego, and in a split of seconds, disillusioned themselves in thinking young again (exibit A--Hugh Hefner from play boy?) ! When Women reach their mid life crises, they revert to spiritual fullfillment and knitting. Good for us, we dont have hormones that bug us to go be active, its not in our Bio make-up! Yippie! Now in Somali scientific studies : The motives results are fairly different. Yes,Somali old men go for younger girls---because they believe that by sleeping with younger women-they inherently remain young forever.(of course this trait they share with men of other race and nation) But Also the second MOST important motive would be--- breeding. The importance of maintaining the status quo of qabil line is emphasized. A man can have as many as 20 children,called liquidation assets, preferably all boyz of course.


But in realistic view--lets discuss why somali women when they reach middle age-- they kick out their husbands? There is this need to just get along with life, and encourage the husband to marry younger wife, meaning 'leave me alone'! LOL My assumptions is-- somali mothers are drama queens first, and second-- they fear rejection. As you can see zulaika's fear of rejection in the creation of the topic above here is evident.

I think Somali women tend to kick them out- one : maybe they dont want to continue to have sex. (understandable) Two:-- they fear being rejected-so they rather throw the -give me divorce rather than get a surprise news from the neighbors.(Hhmm Sensible) Three: -Somali mothers fear having more children since contraception control to them is out of the question. (well well well, very practical i would say! )

Eseentially and basically--i think it all boils down to Biology. Men are a pre-determined product machine. The testosterone hormones in their blue print body, specifically & geographically located in their testicles; make them automatic beast and predators. MEN are programmed to do one thing and one thing only : Play in the fields with their balls.
