cheap
not expensive
safe
not dangerous
near ocean
not far away from the ocean
good food
not bad food
good climate
not too cold

I'd prefer a small town/village. It can be warm or quite cool, not too cool like North America or Eastern Europe, I'm thinking any non-Brazilian Latin American destination, Western Europe, or the middle east.

Big towns really take away from the concept of vacation, especially with the traffic and noise, it gets ridiculous. Also, the idea that you are on vacation while everyone else is at work is quite ridiculous. I want to be somewhere that everyone is simultaneously vacationing.

well i assume u dont wanna go to a cold place or else i would have recommended St Moritz that is if u like skiing and as for cheap and warm maybe try Cuba that is if ur european or canadian passport holder or asia u can try Phucket. as for me i would love to vacation in Iceland and Easter Island. Laughing

Try vacationing in Panama. Nice beaches, not crowed with tourists.

Another good place to check out would be Nicaragua.

The only thing that attracts me to Panama are the beautiful mosques and the rich cultural diversity. But the impoverished atmosphere scares me.
