Re: Harti Sultan and Hawiye Ugas in Asmara
You think that all Majeerteens support Abdullahi Yusuf? The only Majeerteens you see supporting Ethiopian presence in Mogadishu are the oppurtunists. I don't want to sound like a hypocrite seeing I have voiced my support for Abdullahi Yusuf because of one reason and the reason being, Hawiye would love to exterminate me and my people as they already tried to do so to only fail miserably. Personally, we can't be caught off gaurd.. I don't like Ethiopians, I just hate Hawiye.. point blank.
Who is this "Harti Sultan" they talk about?

Again incoherent statement.
Wasn't A.Yusuf the ally of Aideed who went to Galgacio to ''exterminate'' your people? Were was he at that moment when his people needed him?
Also, because of imagined hate towards a Somali group you want to commit National Treason?
Isn't this the same as how the secessionist Northwestern justify their aim of dismembering Somalia?
''a child from addis abbeba is closer than a child born in Xamar''
''Hate wallaweyns but are friends with Ethiopians''
''Faqash exterminated our people not Ethiopians''
It's funny how Northeastern slowly begin to resemble Northwestern people.

Aideed captured a deserted city to only prey on unarmed civilians.. Abdullahi never allied himself with Aideed but rather offered to negotiate with him for the sake of Somalia.

How is Abdullahi Yusuf committing treason? If you didn't know, he is the President of Somalia.
And calling for foreign aid is not called treason you misguided fool. Hassan Dahir Aweys is committing treason by working with Eritrea to destroy the Somali government.
I don't think you know what treason means.. if you need help go to this website www.dictionary.com

How are they dismembering Somalia? Tell me kid? They want to be independant.. Is it their fault that you couldn't pacify you're city?
Dude get off Somaliland's ceeb.. they aren't the problem, YOU ARE!

The only reason I'm anti Abdullahi Yusuf per se, is because I don't think he cares about anybody, even his own clan. Also I think Majerten are making a mistake on putting all of their recourses and cash from Puntland, Nairobi etc. to support a guy, who at the end of the day doesn't really care about them, and never did. However again, this TFG is basically like a Mafia or orginized gang. Medina, and other areas of Northern Xamar were razed to the ground, and Ghedi, M-Dhere, Suudi, Jeele etc. not only just sat back and watched, but issue threats everyday against Hawiye people. Saleban and Sacad neighborhoods were shelled so badly, that both of them just left Xamar altogether and went back to Cadado and Gelinsoor. Yet you have Qeybadid (Sacad) giving AY salutes, and Gacamadhere (Saleban) issuing guarantees that the "terrorists" will be extirminated shortly.
Also we all know that with the antics AY pulled back in '91 shaking Caydid's hands, when this man was on a mission to try to extirminate Darood, especially Majerten, with his rampage in Galkaciyo. So again, Majerten, Sacad, Abgal, and all these other clans would be making a big, big mistake blindly throwing their weight behind these politicians, who at the end of the day are only in this for themselves, and not their countrymen or even tribesmen.

Luq,
I disagree with some of your facts but in principle support your central premise.

Zack, learn how to read properly and then respond.
Luq Ganane's analysis is the correct one. At the end of the day, some groups will be dissapointed big time, and they will be remembered for been traitors, collaborating with the enemy for silly clannish gains.

However Somaliweyn,
My point is that when you say "clannish gains", no single clan will benefit at all. Only the induviduals (warloards), will get rich on the backs of their kinsmen, and Tigray soldiers. The ultimate winners in the TFG, are going to be the warloards, who committed the real atrocities, not the clans they represent.

Luq,
It is possible for clans to make short-term gains while the Ethiopian occupation is in place, but these short term gains will smelt like snow in the hot sun.
Like happened to Ceyrs case with the UIC....short term gains, but how is their situation now?
