Eco-warriors in Somalia? Lol, that would be the mary day lol. Aint this something - Somalis are at last waking up to the grim realities of environmental depletion. Good timing, I say. The problem however is, this is a clan thing. One clan protecting its environmental resources from the vulturing of another clan, which makes it all the more a twist in the hight of tribalism. Environmental Tribalism, should we say?

But having said that, the protection of the environment, whatever the motivation behind it, is nothing short of a noble cause. Good on you, people of Dhahar.
