What do you think of this Laptop and the Price?

I was given a check to buy a laptop for work related projects. Did I undermine myself buying the one I described at the botton and I could have gotten a better one? I was somehow lenient on the company's pocket book.
T61 Laptop - Core 2 Duo T7100/1.8 GHz Centrino Duo - 1GB RAM, 80GB HDD - CD-RW/DVD, WLAN : 802.11a/b/g, Bluetooth 2.0, TPM-fingerprint, SmartCard, Vista Business, 14.1" WXGA+, Docking station for T60/Z60M laptops.
Price ---> $1,513.00.
I already bought it and removed the Vista OS and replaced it with XP.
I hate laptops and carrying them around.

80GB HDD for $1513...
I have 320GB HDD and even though its a Desktop not a laptop, it cost half that price and came with all the perks.
Otherwise you can get a custom one with the same specs for under $1200.

Ismahan, I should have known, LOL@ONE OF YOUR PEOPLE
Paidmonk.
I had to purchase the laptop from CDW which has a contract with our company. I wasn't given a free hand. Also, the docking station and the configuration on the laptop made it that bit more expensive. It is a free laptop for me anyway, costed me nothing. And 80GB HDD is more than enough for what I will do/work on the laptop.

Gamadid, that's a decent laptop. Lenovo (formerly IBM's laptop division) makes quality laptops. In the future, I would suggest you read the reviews of any major electronic product you intend to purchase. Just google the name of the product plus "review." Fortunately, the reviews of your laptop are encouraging.

Gedo-Boy, This was a rip off then? you guys weren't around when I needed a hand though, and it didn't occur to me to ask for help at the time. It was last week.
The resourcefulness of somalinet is clouded by the sheer number of political prostitution going on around.
Welcome back saxib. May be you should trade that pic with Siyad Bare one or Barre Hiiraale One
Welcome back bro.

Gamadid,
I am taking a break from Somali politics it is too dirty for me
I am currently learning about WW2 and I have just recently learned about the massive contribution of the Soviet Union to defeating Nazi Germany.
I am interested currently in Stalin and the rise of the CCCP.
I guess in US curriculum we have been brainwashed into beleiving that D-Day and Battle of Bulge was the beginning and end of WW2.
I wouldn't mind if the Nazis lost after the UK capitulated.........those guys never win a fair fight.

^ GedoBoy, It is worth to note Russia's stellar contribution to WW2. They suffered the highest casualities and were defeated by the Germans in the beginning of the War. The germans were at the gates of Moscow when their luck changed and they were beaten back to Berlin. Troops from Siberia came in trained in Winter warfare and Stalingrad was the bloodiest scene. Americans were pus-sy-cats, they always brag about how brave their soldiers were when in every round they were soundly beaten. The yankees were not ready for war. There is this documentary showing on PBS called "The War", try to catch it if you can.
Anyway, good history. And I agree, somali politics corrupt the soul. Even if you vow to stay on the sidelines, sometimes you get involved. Meel laga wada waalan yahay hadaa timaadid adigana waa waalanee sax?

Gamadid,
I don't want to watch 'The War' b/c it's most of the same thing I want to learn about the Soviet contribution.
In fact, I think it is the British who instigated a 2nd front for Germany. I am investigating this.

Some say the battle for Moscow was much worse.
