October 26, 2007 · Some Palestinians in Gaza are complaining that Israel's intelligence service has tried to make urgently needed medical care contingent on cooperation with the spy agency.
Since Hamas seized the Gaza Strip early last summer, the narrow coastal territory has been virtually cut off from the outside world. The United Nations has warned that the nearly 1.5 million Palestinians in Gaza continue to slip deeper into poverty and isolation under Hamas' rule and Israel's strict border closures.
Now, some Gazans say the intelligence service is trading emergency medical care for cooperation. The Red Cross and several international human rights groups say they're troubled by the charges.

Re: Israel Forces Medically ill in GAZA to spy for them
Nothing these Zionists do will ever surprise me. Personally, I have taken a leave of absence from politics & world news all together, I don't read any news sites or newspapers, never tune-in to watch news on TV, I even stopped listening to NPR on my car radio. I am enjoying peace & quite like I'd never seen before, maybe you should try it for a week, old friend?

Re: Israel Intel Coerces ill in GAZA to spy for them
you're right about that.....I have done that from time to time and it worked wonders
I will get around to doing it in the next month or so...I will also try to leave SNet for a while too..........this stuff is addictive.

Zionism has to be declared a crime against humanity.

Excellent technique. I like it. Very clever way to generate leverage on the source.
I think it was the long lost Viking who said "In war, there are no rules."

Forget about the rules, it's not brilliant insight to do something like that. What I gleaned from that is that the much hyped Israeli Mossad Intelligence is based on blackmailing the sick & desperate?
That's why Palestinians would never be allowed to flourish economically and why Iran would not be allowed to have a nuclear weapon.
Back to the other thread about Iran and nukes, if you're powerful enough nobody will F w/ your sick like that.
And again about population control and maintaining controllable levels of population so you don't ever get hopelessly outnumbered.

Well, the Levant has reached it's population ceiling. As it is, there is really not enough water there to properly support the people living there. Food (which requires water to generate) has to be imported as it is.
Nuclear weapons give you a certain type of power leverage. BUT, they are also constraining and won't compensate for lack of economic power or good diplomacy. You can't eat nukes.

I think Iran has the resources to be able to eat. The problem is the sanctions which is isolating the country. Iran crossing the nuclear threshold would make it a moot point to try to continue to sanction them b/c the permanence of the Iranian regime would be a fait accompli.
The capitalist attitude would then be: "If you can't overthrow them, might as well make a buck off them"
Many US companies throughout the years were already grumbling that the Iranian sanctions weren't working b/c they were working w/ European companies anyways. They complained the only thing that was happening was US firms were losing out.
If they crossed the nuclear threshold, then they would be spoken to differently.
North Korea is going to be taken off the Axis of Evil pretty soon.....because they detonated an atomic weapon.
If they didn't cross the threshold, we would still be hearing about them being a rogue state.
North Korea is gonna receive billions of dollars of aid to 'dismantle' their nuclear program. But the irony is if they dismantled before detonating, the posturing towards them would still be hostile.
I'm sure the US made a real secret, sweet, under the table deal w/ Kim Jong Il and that regime won't be going anywhere and the US will be forced to sign a non-aggression treaty w/ them anyways.
They should have signed it before, instead of upping the ante and trying to starve them into submission. I guess sometimes it works, Libya for example.

yeah, but every indication is North Korea is ready to give it's Nukes up.
And Iran is a diferent animal. It is a theocracy. nobody trusts the motivations of Iran because Iran's official policy is to export its revolution.
But if Iran does develop a nuclear capability, I think you will see the sanctions remain for a long time.

MAD MAC,
Here the Iranians in 2003 pledged to stop 'exporting their revolution' in return for US guarantees:
Here's what they laid on the table:

We should have taken the opening. Oh well. I don't make policy.
