Before Qabil

Aaaah just reminiscing...remember how simple life was before you found out about tribes...Unfortunately that time didn't last long for me... I was bombarded by crazy qabilists asking me what my tribe was....at that time and place lets just say I was a "minority"...Anyways whenever people asked me what my tribe was I would simply say " I am Hawiye"...then everyone would go quite...and someone would yell "Allah waa ku wii wadanki burburiye"....followed by stares and complete silence...ok maybe I'm exaggerating tad bit but you get the gist of it so...

Anyways..when did you first find out about tribes?...any bad experiences?

Growing up i never hanged around people from my tribe and my family never taught me either..

Most of my friends were majeerteen and i felt sorry for them everytime they told me strories of the war and what some tribes did to them..I even had this image of Hawiye people as evil, then i found out that i was hawiye.. As i get older i started to learn of my Hawiye roots first out of self defense.. Than after questioning some few family relatives i found out that we Hawiye also had our stories and calcaal too..

I believe most youths who grow up in the west learn qabil by means of self defense at first..
