A New Market Complex for Burco city completed today!!!!!!

The Mayor of Burco, Mudane Mohamud Ahmed Hassan today formally opened the new Burco Meat and Produce complex.
The complex which as has been under construction in Burco for the past one year will provide facilities in two separate market halls for but the traders and their customers. This new market complex, which consists of two main halls has been funded partly
by the Burco Municipality, Local Traders, the United Nations Habitat, UNDP and the
International Labour Organisation.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mayor Ahmed Hassan stated that the facility will provide retail opportunities for more 2000 traders. The construction cost have been estimated at $160,000 US Dollars. Also speaking at the opening ceremony was Mr. Marco van der Plas from the UN-Habitat agency who stated that the Burco Market Complex is the first one in a series of six similar complexes to be constructed across Somaliland in the
following months. Mr. Van Der Plas also remarked that the completion of this project is a single to other cities and towns in Somaliland to undertake similar projects that will have
a profound effect on the development of the community.

Abdi Abokor Yusuf representing the local office of the International Labour Organisation pointed out one the goals of the complex is to improve both food hygiene and to play a significant role in improving the local environment. The construction of the market complex was undertaken and completed in time by the indigenous VCC construction company

Qansa i know wallahi wha you mean, that is pissing me of, every time there is something new they never get any pictures, reer burco reporters are fukin poor....they cant even afford cheap ass cameras

I was looking for the pictures aswell, i think they buy those cheap yellow disposable kodak cameras with like 25-30 pictures in the role.
They probably use all its roll on the family "Sawirka iga qaad" "Maya aniga sawirka iga qaad" "Aryee sawirka iga qaad", he probably had one left by the time he got to work.
