Hey AW, am thinking, since the Ethiopians do not see GMS as a threat "yet", should we use the state to build a small mechanized Somali army to eventually Rally with the resistance and drive out the Ethiopians.

For this we need to get the following ground equipment

50 T-72 tanks

Around 1, 000 PKM machine guns

Also around 15 BGM-71 TOW Anti-tank missiles of course with around 20 M151 MUTT.

Plus 6 MANPADS as part of the Air defense.

We need a country to sponsor our defense forces, one that has a grudge against Ethiopia.

All this would be backed up by a strong force of 40, 000 Somalis.

Am just dreaming but is it really possible?

The guys that would drive the tanks need to get trained abroad, to familiarize themselves with the tanks.

We could force all the Nomads in Mudug and Galgauud to join the small army, i think we could get around maybe 30, 000 men.

They won't first suspect because they would just think that we are developing just Galmudug defense force when when in reality we are building a small force army that could force the Ethiopians to flee Somalia.

The T-72 tanks and PKM machine guns plus BGM-71 TOW Anti-tank missile, are all essential to make the Ethiopians have second thought before they even confront us.

Walahi, i feel like buying a ticket and begging the Iranians to help us out, they got plenty of old tanks and machine guys and anti-tank missiles that they don't need.

Plus they could train 5, 000 Somalis in Iran on how to drive tanks.

Guys, we need tanks, Machine guns and most important of all anti-tank missile's to cut down Ethiopian metal.

Its time us Somalis played the victim card to sympathetic countries.

I think the Iranians could help us out, if we make our case clear towards them.

Iran does not care what America thinks and would happily help us out after knowing that the united states is behind the Ethiopian invasion.

Currently the bulk of our resistance fighters are stationed in Eritrea, however Eritrea is a poor country with limited arms to defend their own country.

The only Arab country that is sympathetic towards Somalia is Qatar, the rest don't care.

We need to also press Turkey to look into our situation.

Our job would be much easier if we assaiante those people that call themselves the TFG who happen to camouflage the occupation.

Ask urselfs how on earth did the Eritreans get tanks to fight the past Ethiopian dictator.

If the Eritreans can bring in tanks and heavy weaponry in the past when they were no more than rebels and their were 200, 000 Ethiopian troops occupying their country.

How come we Somalis can't do that?

Adan*5, there's two prime weapons we need at the moment, they are Anti-tank missiles and PKM machine guns.

All it takes is one ship loaded with weapons to land in some dusty port somewhere in Somalia, after that we could cause some serious and expensive damage to Ethiopian mechanized forces.

We are much better fighters than the Eritreans, all we need is good leadership with the right organizational skills to make us into a lethal fighting machine.
