that shit is not true walaahi. somali children in the city i am from are one of the best students and achieve the most gcse's

there is a primary school which was the worst school in the city, and now became the best school in the city for the last 2 years. the principal came to the mosque and siad that somali children make up over 50 percent of the population and have made the school to become the best primary school in the city.

i agree in places like london and birmingham somali kids underachieve, but where i am from, school, and teachers love somali kids. even the highschool i went to somali kids made it to the most improved school in uk.

^And in which city may that be?

a primary school where 50% of it's student are Somali is quite unusual, not heard off and probably is just a made up figure based on nothing.

here is the bbc ranking of primary schools

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/shared/bsp/hi/e ... va_856.stm

school is called taylor it does'nt say about being 50 percent somali. but the area is full of somalis and the principal himself came to the mosque, he was invited there and gave a lecture, he said the school is 50 percent somali.

I think the underachievement of Somali children in the Uk maybe has to do with the fact that London is a very expensive city and when you're an immigrant, you will inevitabely live in bad neighbourhoods. Thus, the school district in your area will be very poor. I think Somali parents need to move from London and go to a more affordable part of the UK.
