The only thing the UIC can be accused of is political inexperience, they had heart and they had actions, but because they consisted of many different entities, many of their goals were never fullfilled.

To say the UIC's war rhetoric is what led to Somalia's occupation is naive, because Ethiopians were in Somalia long before the UIC surfaced. As for them not attacking Biijo while he was M. Dheere's humiliated and humble house guest, the reasons are obvious; they simply did not have the power or momentum that they had a few months later.

You're talking about a period when they were not a united entity, they were merely different neighborhood courts, it wasn't until mid-2006 when they came together and became a power house, by then Biijo had taken residency at Baydhabo. In addition, by attacking Biijo while he was still seen as Somalia's new "President" it would cause rifts between UIC members as well as bring unnecessary international pressure.

It was Isbaheysiga all Hawiye that came up with the idea of using terrorism card,the same card that TFG and Ethiopia are currently using,thus making Isbaheysiga the reasonfor occupation.

Every area made there own court and people are seperated based on clan.

Indha'ade was rulling the Shabelle before the ICU. When he came he was defense minister of the ICU. He was brought in to get troops and support, it was political reasons, him and Abu Mutaiba, him and Ceyrow were always on bad terms. Locals did set up there own courts and were given power to rule.
