I used to think what made great man like Abdiqaasim continue to serve under Siyad barre brutal dictatorship,but I found out he he wanted to change things other ways .Afterall siyaad was ordinary somali man

Aideed become big player in tribal warfare that devasted somalia

SNM and northerners failed and instaed fell into hyene mouth

A. Yousuf/SSDF and his mainly tribalistic zeolous followers was the worst-they sold out everything to the arc-enemy that was beeing fighting for ,including themselfs

Greed & confused priorities.

Is it a coincidence that most of the rebel movements were either created in Ethiopia or received support from Ethiopia? What about the leaders of such movements? They were unfit to rule anyone and had absolutely no comprehensive plan of properly ruling the country. Their primary & only goal: To remove Siyad Bare at any cost. Once that finally happened in 1991, the USC collapsed on its face due to hypocrisy, greed, injustice and lack of a plan.
