Re: Ethiopian factor surfaces in Puntland oil dispute
Galia,
Give credit where it's due. I support Puntland deciding (with or without the consent of the so-called TFG) of what they do to their natural resources. Would you rather have them remain hostage for the Mogadishu situation where there is no end in sight? Let them explore and ease the financial constraints off their ppl. As for Ethiopians being utilized as security for the drilling company, why not? If they can't provide the necessary security, I see nothing wrong in importing foreign manpower.
One of the contributing factors of the demise of the nation is poverty, and if there is one tiny project that would alleviate the affliction, so be it.

Re: Ethiopian factor surfaces in Puntland oil dispute
Puntland has an estimated 10 billion barrels of oil x 100$ per barrel =
1 Trillion dollars (1.000.000.000.000)
1 Trillion dollars (1.000.000.000.000)
Re: Ethiopian factor surfaces in Puntland oil dispute

Ethiopia never would have dared nor dreamed of invading Somalia if you guys (Hawiye) put your sh!t together after deposing Siad barre regime. Whatever happened to Somalia is squarely on the shoulders of hawiye, you guys even elected a Dooro (the worst of them) for presidency and now you have the nerve to question who invites who?!!

So it belongs to whole Dhulbahante and a sub-clan of Maxamud Saleban? A cumar Maxamud from dry mudug has the same right as the Dhulos in Buhoodle. Exuctive Maxaa ku daaray brother?
If we are playing that card, lets say Ciise Maxamud and Nur Ahmed

The only reason I said Cise Mahmud was because only their Elders have spoken out about Puntlands plans. Thats All. Cise Mahamud Elders and Dhulbahante elders in Garowe had a meeting a week ago.
Inshallah our land and natural resources will be defended for the Puntland Thugs.......
