I have to say...I find it weird and distasteful when the bride and groom kiss each other on the lips after cutting the cake!

Oh...at this other wedding......the guys were actually drinking alcohol!!!!

FAH.....I mean, they can do anything because they are married, but I'm still very somali in that aspect i guess, that the can do whatever they want at home, but public affection is still a little too 'gaalo gaalo'

for a lack of a better word.

It wasnt the bride n groom...it was one of the groomsman and some next chick.....it was sooo funny.......the look on their faces....I mean...atleast close the stall or better yet close the damn bathroom.....

Always find it weird when the bride is pregnant and her bump is quite obvious... Who would want on their wedding day to be at their heaviest and suffer from whatever pregnant ladies suffer from?
Most of the time the wedding is arranged as a "Cover-up", don't they know that the nikax is not even xalaal and can't be done when the girl is pregnant and that it has to be done AFTER the baby is born?

Ever stop to think that maybe they nikkah was done several months b4 and now they can afford the ceremony? I think pregnant brides are just beuatiful.....

So Basically, a gabar should be a gabar until her wedding night, and if she's already pregnant then it's obvious she isn't right? So lugaha ha isku xiiraan.

Erm... i was talking about the ones who haven't done the nikah before hand and are only doing it (the wedding) for the sake of covering up the ceeb (that they got pregnant without being married).

And you're right i personally would want to look my best, meaning i would excercise and eat healthy tone up etc.... and i said nothing about being anorexic! That's ur interpretation young lady!

Obviously a pregnant girl can't get married WHILE she is pregnant according to Sharia Law....but what ms.naila is trying to say is.....that sometimes....the couple do the nikaax (girls not pregnant) but dont have an aroos. Many months later...when they've saved up enough money for the aroos party....they can afford to have an aroos, although they've been husband and wife for many months. So it's ok if you see a pregnant girl at her wedding, it doesn't mean that she got pregnant before she did the nikaax...hope that made sense lol

But really...I don't think a pregnant bride is 'beautiful'....i guess i'm old fashioned in a sense....even if everything is halaal and according to deenta....I think people will just be suspicious and rumours are bound to fly...and besides....imagine wise....I wouldn't wanna be obviously pregnant at my aroos, i'd feel a little embarrassed.

I never seen a somali married couple who kiss eachother in public in my entire life and i hope i never will....Pple should do those things in private.

As for the topic the weirdest thing i seen in a wedding would be a pregnant women who was wearing a short skirt and she was 9 month...just imagin and she was having twins..subxanallah..ilaahy ha na waalin

...and she ws dancing all night

Weirdest thing in wedding was, seeing grown Somali females with no bara and I could see their tip of their titties. One time I was passing through Womens bath room and woow a lot of smoke came out with a bunch of females smoking inside the bathroom. I though smoking weed was a guys thing?
