I'm not one to be interested in other people's secrets. When asked if I can keep a secret I generally say no. I find that people tell me anyway but then I don't have the burden of having to worry about whatever it is they think they're hiding. I have enough stress already. I gave up on secrets when I was a teenager. I remember working really hard to avoid giving anything away... though I don't recall the particular secret... then had a few other people come up and ask if I'd heard about it. I realised the person I'd been "working" for had gone around spreading her own secret and I'd wasted my worry for nothing.

I don't go around blurting things out for no reason but, unless it's close friend or family... what the heck are they telling me for anyway is there something on my f-king forehead that says I will keep their secrets??

Very few people can truly keep a secret. They always end up telling someone, who tells someone etc... and before you know it everyone knows.

I don't like keeping secrets. I simply say "I don't want to keep your secret, you're gonna have to find someone else."

This reminds me of two famous two girls who could not keep a secert.

1. She was Somali and she was confronted why she can't keep a secret, she said" Alla naaguhu cagli xumaa, mid waliba intey caloosheedii faaruqsey ayey rabtaa inay caloosheeydu buuxdu"

2. The second one, I honestly don't know exactly her nationality, but when confronted why she can't keep a secret, she said: It is not me, who can't keep a secret, it is those girls that I confide in that can't keep a secret

I am a free spirited, open book person. I like to share things. Secrets happen to be one of the things. Currently i have a huge secret that i discovered, through psychological deductions.I hate myself for deligently discovering it- anyway its about my close friend. What i did to relieve the pain of telling to someone--i went to her 'adeer' and confessed what i suspected. OF course the adeer was shocked and hated me for sharing. But i know the secret is safe now. This adeer does not like to talk at all. He is like Mystic or Qansa-- people who dont like talk usually find people who like to talk and they all suit each other. There listeners and talkers. At any rate, my life has been better since i blurted out the secret.Tremendous relief i must say.
