It's the anticipation, when will it happen? how? and what comes after?S-D-M wrote:You can not be scare of something that u know will happen no matter what.

For me it's not the dying that scares me the most, it's the fact that everything we do will have to be accounted for. All your sins/ajar, everything.S-D-M wrote:You can not be scare of something that u know will happen no matter what.

Subhanallah. I wanted create this same topic today. I'm not lying wallahi. Great minds think alike eh?
I think about death a LOT. I scare myself the amount of times I think of death. I think about how I'm going to die ( drowning, shot, in my bed, trip over on the road, stabbing etc) constantly. I know it's not healthy to think about it that much. I'm not scared of death, but I'm just scared of what comes after it. I think about the point the Angel of Death takes my soul - will I be at peace? Will my soul flow out of my body easily? Or will it be like pulling a thorn out of a haystack? I think about the punishment of the grave - and how the earth squeezes you upon entrance. I think about the two Angels who'll come to ask me the three most important questions. Will I answer them correctly? Will I hesitate? Subhanallah. I think every night going to bed, will I wake up tomorrow? It's so true, what the Prophet (saw) said, death is the destroyer of all pleasures. If you knew you were going to die tomorrow would you do what you're doing today?

This is how it will happen.......
You will cheat on your husband and when day he will leave work early which he will catch you and your lover in the main bed. He will run to the kitchen where he will get the biggest knife he can get and stab you both to death.

Re: How often do u think about death ?
Not much as I should. From time to time, the sudden death of someone reminds me of my mortality(like that of Tim Russert newsman who died on his set), the sentiment doesn't linger too long to have an effect on my behaviour however. It quickly disappears as it intrudes. I have had close calls myself and looked death in the eyes but survived unscathed much to my shock. I decided to perfect my Towxid and rely on it. I have Towxid should I die at this minute but nothing else.
