Wasn't Xassan older then Isaaq ?

I replied like that because of the question he asked us. My own mom don't know the exact date she was born, how are we suppose to know the birthday of men that like hundreds of years ago

No he was younger. Isaaq was the first born therefore the Ugaas..........if Hassan was older, the Marexaan Ugaas would be reer Xassan instead of Reer Isaaq.

Maya lama hubo walaal but it is very likely that was the case. But for instance say Xassan was older than Isaaq and that after Xassan had his kids, he died while his father was still alive, then the Ugaasnimo would definitely go to Isaaq even though Xassan was older. So it could have been this case but I doubt it. Sharmarke was not the oldest by the way, he was the second oldest I believe. Sharmarke got the ugaasnimo the way Bush became president. Nin baa meesha laga saare.
