Actually I am back in Nairobi, Shanka is right. I came back yesterday. In two days I am going to Mombasa, chill there for two weeks and then go back up again.

Murax, you are the opposition marka this thread bugs you. But seriously since coming here I have never laughed so hard about Somalinet and all the nacnac some people used to bring. The city is in the full control of Cabdirizaaq Faarax Taano.

Voltage sxb ileen You don't really know Me or have any ideas about the way I view things. Kismaayo baad sheektay, I'm happy to see peace or development anywhere in Somalia. Infact I can swear that I have no idea nor have any good or bad feelings about this fella. I was always a supporter of the Jubbaland inititive which Barre was working on in '06, and started again this year. Either way I think that as a clan Marexaan are not at the level politically ala Somaliland/Puntland to launch such an inititive so I don't really care about to all too much to be honest.

When I first heard this Guy's name I asked My Pops who He was and He told Me He hasn't heard about Him a day in His life as well as most of these Guys on the scene today (Taano, Raadeer, Xassan Dheere etc.) These people wern't known to Him When the Government was functioning and the only people He knew and could vouch for was Barre, Ahmed Warsame since they were both part of the SNA. The only Guy He knows out of that group is Dauud Dirir and thats just because they were chilling in Dubai together a couple of years ago.

To be honest though I did take a little offense to You calling Me a 'mucaarad' to this fellow I didn't even know as if I'm just a paltalk qabqaabe for a subclan. I'm not Reer Kooshin and I'm not on Barre's payroll so I have no idea walle Why You would think that the good things this Guy could be doing for this city would get Me angry When it would actually make Me or any other Marexaan happy the city is peaceful. Remember sxb You and Sadeboi both were Pro Barre, Anti Maxaakim, Then Anti Barre, Pro Taano, the Anti TFG, Pro Shabab. After that You did an about face to the Marexaan leaders You used to idolize (Col Cabbas and others) and said they were crooks. You then tried to guise this under a "New, enlightened thinking" type thing, but in reality You were just angry this fellow (Mr Taano) was deposed by the elders and You wanted to find a Way to take shots at the Man You used to idolize (Barre) as a "I hate all warlords" type charade. This was all because of Your dispute with Warsame that made You go absolutely nuts and made You Guys confused. Then if that wasn't enough both of You got an extreme sense of paranoia to think that I have some case of cuqdad against people I don't even know, or against Marexaan subclans. This is all stuff I noticed a very long time ago but kept to myself as I didn't want to seem as if I was taking sides in You and Warsame's arguement. I'm also sure most of the Gedo section knows what made You radically shuffle Your positions with the wind. For what its worth (not much) I kept the same exact political lines I followed When I first joined the forum from day 1, and that shows that I had ideals and principles I stuck with and I didn't go on highs and lows or change My positions because somebody was deposed or promoted. Sxb You gotta fix up because this whole rural insiginigant city in a foresaken part of the world has put You in a such a extreme mental funk walle. I thought You would learn something while You're in Africa.

As for Mr Taano or Mr Fiiji controlling Kismaayo, Allahiyo I hope they control every neighborhood, bring security and business. Somebody has to be in control.

lol @ Murax, ina-adeerkiis, all you can do is laugh, some people cannot be taken seriously. It is not trival laakin, politics can be discussed. What is trival is providing legtimacy to every idiot and his latest gossip.

The only thing I will say is, I used to assume Voltage had at least a house or some relatives living in Kismaayo but now I found out that he does not even have a reason to go to Kismaayo on his first ever trip to Somalia.

So what makes him paranoid about Kismaayo that he has to potray it like it is a city controlled by dozens of 'warlords', "Taano captured this", "Taano is in full control"

The plans in motion are way bigger than Kismaayo saaxib, we are talking about a regional state, not a mere city.

Teeda kale, if the truth needs to be told, when we are talking about Kismaayo, there is no one on this forum that can reach the same prestige that me and XS have in Kismaayo yet you never see me talk about Kismaayo the way Voltage talks about this city.

Lastly, Kismaayo is a Somali city, and it is the meeting point of the Mareexaans from the central regions and those from the south.
