I thought she gave a decent speech. She delivered the red meat but failed to 'pull the voters to her side." long after this speech, questions will asked about her experience, ethical conduct and judgment ( Having Ted Stevens as a close buddy don't help much anyways). I thought the theme of the night was ' Throw the Red meat at Obama/Biden" and I think it might work. Guillani's statement that "Change is not a direction and Hope is not a strategy" might very well resonate with voters and is a sure effective line of attack
