career choice

FOR THE people done uni/coll

did you get a job related to ur field?

cuz am in uni and i have no clue wtf i wanna do and the clock is ticking

Im still not finished yet, but my brothers dat graduated frm uni already have jobs..it depends on which field u are in, if u are in da commerce/engineering/science field it isnt dat hard to find a job once u graduate..

Do an internship when you are still in uni (like during the summer) and you will usually end up with a job offer

Than you should do internships because you likely have a job as soon as you graduate.

Do it during the summertime.

Graduated uni in 2007, been working for one yr. Studied accounting, working in accounting. Bored as hell an researching career change.

If your doing a useless degree with no real skills, than give up. Go in teaching, medicine, engineering, commerce and accounting etc

im on first year univeristy. from what im studying and what i want to do are different. i dont think i want to be a Doctor.

I notice in the US, most people don't end up using their degrees when they enter the "real world" unless you are a Pre-Med or a Business major...maybe in a couple of sciences also (but thats just a few subjects), but its like just having a degree is enough in some places

my dad's degree is in civil engineering and he never used it :lol:

Well right out of school he was doing some accounting work, he also drove a cab at the same time

Field Consultant for a well-known company but I won't qarxis :up:
