too much competition, besides unless you are a good communicator with great leadership skills, you are not going too far with it. I know this dude who has masters in financing and the scker works in payroll with target. 24/hr for Six year school?

its all relative man, it depends really on the markets

In America you can make your money doing whatever, doesn't even matter what you majored in to a lot of employers

the more I talk to people with experience in all fields (besides the obvious doctor, bio chem, ect), thats the feeling I get

There is NO job opportunity in business administration? You think 4 years of general education is going to land you a job as head of a company? Get real.

I don't know why people tippy-toe around reality. Go into medical or tech study fields. Shit, you study 17 years of math (primary, secondary, college schooling) for a REASON! Everyone, whether you want it or not, is set out from an early age to study medicine and technology - or both. Its both progressive, skilled, and well worth the time since you practically study it (math) your entire life.

The best part - science/tech jobs have the best job placement and the highest salaries.

Top 10 paying jobs:

-Electrical Engineering
-Chemical Engineering
-Mechanical Engineering
-Pharmacy
-Construction Management/Engineering
-Industrial Engineering
-Software Engineering (computer science/programming)

Take the hint.

All fields are competitive nowadays. The more specific your degree is the better chances of landing a good job. So even if you study Business Administration, make sure you concentrate on something instead of getting a general business degree. Even if you will study engineering, make sure you specialize waayo China and India graduate thousands and thousands of engineers and software developers that will work for 12 dollars an hour every year.

If your major is in business, focus on Acturial science, or operations.

If your school offers degree in monitoring and evaluation, that is good field if you are eyeing for international organizations.

It's not bad subject for Masters but your Bachelor should be in a more specific area such as accounting or economics....Anyway broaden your horizons people go into marketing or even logistics cause thats where all the money is at.
