Amina/Tammy W/C salaam sister.

I went to your blog and all your reciped are a mix of Lamagodley nomadic food spiced up with Canadian recipes because lamagodley nomadic recipes are limited that is why these nomads look skinny like starving Marvins. Pasta, baris and anjiro with a sauce made in a refugee camp. That is it. Try Benadiri Somali cuisines, they are very rich and diverse. That is the real Somali food. If you need help preparing Benadiri recipes let me know. Don't feed your kids lamagodley nomadic starving Marvin recipes. I heard Somali nomadic lamagodley recipes make kids become autists.

Sister Amina,

Your blog is full of nice Somali recipes, I have actually recommended to few family and friends. Somalis never write food recipes, they do everything by estimation (qiyaas).

Tammy/Amina,

I am an cadaan Marykan who lived in Jilib during the Sixties. I recognize most of your dishes and don't consider any of them cunto reer baadiye. Thanks for the recipes, especially for soor and Somali cake, which were favorites of mine. Have you been able to come up with a way to make anything similar to muufo tinaar?

Amina/Tammy,

Don't take anything personal said about you on this site. Remember this is the internet and there are a lot of sick people out there. Your cooking recipes are good and your family is beautiful.
