Real Opportunity
Since peace, justice and the real rule of law has returned to Jubaland, the leaders in the region has a responsibilty and duty to hold an all inclusive peace process for the various freedom fighter groups in Somalia. This is a real opportunity and I hope that the leaders take this chance and unite our freedom fighters. We can't offord the fragmentation of our freedom fighters.
I would bring everybody together in Kismaayo including the Shariifs, Aweys and all the other groups and come up with real solutions for the country since the Ethiopian occupying forces are in their last days. The Somali Diaspora groups need to act now and should fully support the campaign of holding this conference in Jubba.

Re: Real Opportunity
Guhaad it seems only few people want to resit the occupation.
They are as follows Cayr + all langaab Hawiyes + a cocktail of southerners.
The rest are expecting the Ethiopians to shake hands with them and the Ethiopians will leave after loosing thousands of their troops in Somalia.

Brother Patriot,
I have addressed this issue many times and I asking that you refrain from generalizing people. If you really want the truth, all Somali clans has representation in the struggle. It is a Somali matter not clan matter.

Re: Real Opportunity
Soomalida have a long way to go before they liberate themselves from the oppressors. I remember most Somalis wouldn't hesitate to support their clan militias & corrupt warlords when it was about clan wars, but now that Somalia is occupied, nobody wants to either fund or take part in the struggle to free Somalia. Waa dad ay u dhamaatay. Their nifaaq is the reason they're getting punished.

Patriot,
You should refrain from silly remarks without any base. What is this Mudulood you are talking about? First get the name right, then proceed in collecting reliable information about the group, then draw your conclusions.
Few facts,
The lion share of the finances of the resistance is from few wealthy Mudulood men, Cumar Cadaani been the most prominent of them.
The head of the ICU (Dijboutie faction) is Sheikh Shariif.
The head of the ICU in Mogadishu is a Mudulood man.
The head of Alshabaab in Benadir is Macalin (the self-proclaimed governor of Xamar and Xamer daye).
Without the above men, the warlords would have never been evicted from Mogadishu. Without the tangible support and sympathy that Mudulood masses have for the Islamic movement in Benadir, nothing would have worked out.
The most heavy fighting that happened in April/March were concentrated around few area's, Yaaqshiid-Hotel Ramad- Fagax junction been one of the heaviest fight over, and these happen to be Mudulood area.
------
In the future get your facts straight before uttering silly stuff.
Also reliable information said there are more then 30.000 Ethiopian soldiers in Mogadishu, and 50.000 in Somalia. Gt your facts straight.

Re: Real Opportunity
Patriot,
The number of the resistance fighters in all of Somalia is probably around 4,000 or less. There are hundreds of thousands of young men of sound mind & age that it becomes obligatory for them to free Somalia from Kufr oppression, but they choose to sit on the sidelines and do nothing.
Sometimes, I see glimpses of refugees fleeing the fighting in Xamar and a lot of them are young men. Why are they running from starved Ethiopians who are shelling their homes? Why not fight them? Its not a coincidence they're getting massacred.

Re: Real Opportunity
warya Captain so you still beleiave the Ethiopians are their for the Interest of MJ? If so why could they offer a hand in 2007 when the MR kicked you out of Kismayu?
MR successfully conviced the Ethois that.
They are the once that helped Tigray come to power, that MJ and Ogadeen are close kins and that most of the MR territories were adminsitered by Ethios.

Re: Real Opportunity
Somaliweyn,
Brother Patriot needs some facts and thanks for clarifying things. I know for sure that without the help of Mudulood, the struggle wouldn't have flourished. Having pointed that out, what do you think of having an all inclusive conference in Kismaayo? Bring everybody togher.
Many people have said negative things about Sheekh Shariif but all that the Shariif is trying to do is spare the civilian casualties. Plus he is doing something the courts lacked; it is called a foreign policy.

The Patriot with others. I think you will find that, I always maintained by hatred for filthy Ethiopians, and in fact I would be happy if they get massacred in Moqdisho. What I can't stand is, docile creepy wadaads who hide behind Islam to reach selfish clanish goals.
