(UPI) -- Police said they have arrested a Suffolk, Va., woman who allegedly bound her two young children with duct tape and told a friend she intended to kill them.

The police report said Takiyah Wright, 25, allegedly sent photos of her children, ages 1 and 3, to a friend's cell phone and said she planned to kill them and dispose of their bodies in a garbage bag, The (Newport News, Va.) Daily Press reported Tuesday.

The friend phoned police and the children were found unharmed. They were placed in the custody of Child Protective Services.

Their mother was arrested and charged with two felony counts of abuse and neglect of children and two counts of abduction. She was taken to the Western Tidewater Regional Jail in lieu of $10,000 bond.
