HOW MANY SURAS DID YOU MEMORIZE FROM THE QURAN?.

Post by ky2008 »

I memorized upto surat al-Sajda and I am still proceeding.
If you memorize every day 10 ayas you can finish the whole Quran within 3 years.

i went all the way up to Sura Al-Kahf before i was even 13 years old. i feel bad now that i don't remember most of it and that my mind has become an encyclopedia for all that is bad. i don't know if its true or not but i heard somewhere that those who memorize the quran and forget face harsher consequences than those that didn't. can anyone with enlighten me on this?

Don't give up. I started learning the Quran at the age of 13 and finished when I was 15. So if you put the effort and the good intention, Allah will help you learn the Quran. Also its more important to revise and good through the surahs you have learned.

Also bad deeds prevent a muslim from memorizing the Quran.
