Ethiopia launches project to register mosque on world heritage list

APA-Addis Ababa (Ethiopia) Ethiopia launched a national project to list one of its historical mosque, the Dire Shakena Hussien Mosque, as a UNESCO world heritage, APA learnt on Saturday.

Accordingly, the Ethiopian Islamic Affairs Supreme Council is undertaking activities to get the Dire Shakena Hussien Mosque registered on the World Heritage list.

Ethiopia is also home to the first mosque in Africa, known as Al Negashi, located in the Northern part of Ethiopia, in the Tigray regional state.

World Heritage is European funded Organization that protects and maintains old historic abandoned building!

Now, who will let their mosque be maintianed and protect by a bunch of european christian groups?

The grand mosque is Harar that was the beam of light in the Horn for 900 yrs was converted to an Orthodox church in 1890 after Menelik ransacked killed and massacred the people .

Till today its a church talk about tolerance.

If the xabashi take firm hold on Mogadishu they will convert the Isbaheysi mosque into an Orthodox church.
