^^^disregard this....news reports say 3000 probably 15,000 troops in reality....

you only need a force of about 10,000 to take all of Somalia including Somaliland and Puntland

this isn't Iraq or Afghanistan

I mean for God's sake the former Somali army was only 60,000 or so strong

They had 30,000 in Mogadishu. They either died off or were re-organized

At one point they did especially during the March-April Hawiye offense in Xamar. The numbers could be as high as 60,000.

mate there's a hundred thousand plus in eritrean border, a few thousand in oromiya, a few more in gambella and sidama, literally thousands in ogadenia, no way ethiopian army is too overstreched to committ that much to somalia
