Superstitious Somali Sayings

Post by LaQaNyO »

-Carabka marka isqaniintid/ Bite your tongue= someone elsewhere is talking about you.

-When the middle part of your palm is feeling itchy= Depending on right or left/ getting money soon or you are giving money away.

I find this so random and yet again so many occasions i always end up finding my self quoting these superstitious somali sayings
My favourite has to be though when u take your shoes of nd they somehow end up trailing each other or on top of one and other 'waad dhoofeysa' lol

Do i sound crazy or familiar.... if so share yours nd have you found truth in these things before?
Astaqfurallah i know it sounds bad... but when my palm feels itchy i really get on with the rest of my day hoping/believing im going to get some money

The oddest one I've heard is that if you get off your seat and it's really warm it means you are a jealous person. :|
