The support that Sheikh Shariff has

Post by Somaliman50 »

Did he receive more support than Abdiqasim Salad? I mean, ever since he was elected in Djibouti, i have seen dozens of Somali communities all over the world pledging their support to him. Do you think this helps at all?

I think The most significant support that he received was from the habargidir tribe. That is what abdullaahi yusuf lacked and led to his downfall. Others never count whether they pledge or reject.

No it doesn't help, people can pledge support all day but action has to be taken.

AbdiQassim got pledges left and right and he only controlled a block of Xamar

One think that I know is that it would take sheikh shariif all his term before he control Bay and Bakool. That is Abuu Mansuur territory and he would never get any support       . Sheikh shariif can single to them all day but Abu Mansuur would tell them " hoobaa Shariif Raacdee, Naarta Kitiimbadee" and that is it.
