I think the greatest Muslim in the 20th Century is Imam Hassan Al-Banna, the guy who started Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt

@ captain picking shaheed imaam hassan al-banna (ra). a serious pick.
though all muslims, especially those who fight and die in the path of allah swt, are beloved and dear to me, i must say the great shaheed imaam sayyid qutb and mujahid shaykh bin laden - may allah's mercy be upon them - have done the most for islam and ummah of muhammad saw in our time.

Objectively speaking, the greatest muslims in the 20th century are those that industrialized their respective countries (respectively speaking of course). and these leaders are:
1. Kamal Ataturk
2. General Suharto
3. The Malaysian "Dr." President

actually, Emperior, his full name is Mustafa Kamal Ataturk, but we are talking about Sunni Muslims.

His name is Mustafa Kamal. AtaTurk is a title/nickname means father of Turk

I don't think anyway recognised the magnitude of threat the kuffars posed better than
but 20th century was pretty much dark century for islam in general
