Coca Cola closes plant in Ethiopia
Even International giants are having trouble coping with the economic downturn.
quoting Seamus Boylson, who remains in contact with the Ethiopian media and other sources:
http://community.peacecorpsconnect.org/ ... fricarpcvs
"That famous (infamous?) institution, Coca Cola, has just closed its plant in Ethiopia, because they can't get metal for their bottle caps & their delivery trucks lack diesel to run on.
When one hears such horror stories, it becomes almost overwhelming to consider: The G-20's $1.2-Trillion increased funding to IMF seemed so impressive "yesterday", but now appears to be a veritable "drop in the bucket".
But without major internal reforms, key nations are going to be hard pressed to even qualify for anything like what they need to pull out of this Kamikaze-like tailspin dive. Which comes first, major internal reforms or financial bail-outs? And how much of the latter would simply go into already amply stuffed Swiss or off-shore secret deposit boxes?"

Re: Coca Cola closes plant in Ethiopia
thnx grant.
That's what happens when you are landlocked and can't get along with your neighboring countries and most of your inhabitants. I am sure they'd try to annex Djibouti had it not been the French presence.
shamboo, it doesn't hurt to know about your neighbor's economic situation, even if u hate them

Ethiopia has a better chance of annexing Somalia than us with or without the French Legion's.admin wrote:thnx grant.
