How Wadaads CAN be Stopped!

For those who think that Somalia's new fundamentalist surge is unstoppable, its absurd! It was done in the time of 2 weeks back in January '07 by Ethiopia and a few US air strikes. It can be done again, easily.

This issue is bigger than piracy and all Somalis must deal with this in their own country as well as abroad wherever they receive support.

Step 1:
-air raids against towns held by these militants : cross-border bombings by Ethiopia/US on Baidoa, Marka, and Kismayo will automatically send the wadaads back to the bushes, like in 2007.

Step 2:
-without economic hubs & ports, these guys have nothing but Saudi aid & $$$ from xawaalads : step 2 would be to pressure Saudi Arabia to stop fringe offspring from funding these wadaads, and also tracking and freezing all Somali-owned xaawalads worldwide

Step 3:
-the closing of Al-Barakat in the 1990s virtually forced Somalia's religious militants to cave in, so knowing they'd be out of luck with the $$$ situation, this would be the time to chase them out of the jungles and into Kenya & Ethiopia, where those respective governments would finish the job

Step 4:
-any remaining wadaads will be dealt with by armed clan militias, who are very eager to return to pre-2006 positions of power and legitimacy

Step 5: with zero wadaad presence in the countryside and no $$$ to aid them, the capital will be in the hands of local militias, next step would be to make that position permanent

The World is not concerned with Somali Islamic militancy as long as it is contained in Somalia. They are more concerened with piracy which is a direct threat to foreign interest.

Step 1:
-air raids against towns serving as pirate lairs : sea invasion by NATO and allies on Bosaaso, Ely, Harardheere, and Hobyo, setting a new precedent for unprecedented international cooperation against enemies of world economies.

Step 2:
-without pirate lairs, these guys have nothing but fees from human trafficking & $$$ from xawaalads : step 2 would be to tackle the human trafficking from funding these pirates, and also tracking and freezing all MJ-owned xaawalads worldwide

Step 3:
-the closing of pirate lairs would force pirates to cave in, so knowing they'd be out of luck with the $$$ situation, this would be the time to destroy their investments in Somalia as well as Kenya & Ethiopia, where those respective governments would finish the job

Step 4:
-any remaining pirates will be dealt with by armed clan militias, who are very eager to return to various civil war stafes of positions of power and legitimacy

Step 5: with zero pirate presence in the countryside and no $$$ to aid them, the Garowe will be in the hands of local militias, next step would be to make that position permanent

Piracy is a joke, the world doesn't care to stop it. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if CNN & Al Jazeera funded pirate groups just to get a headline story and sell news subscriptions.

Militant Islam on the other hand, is a very real issue in Somalia and the entire horn. Ethiopia didn't try to suppress it, Ethiopia tried to crush it, and it has not given up, neither has the US of A.

1) Divide and conquer the hawiyes.

2) Open up cotton plantations to provide work to paidmonks people.

It was handfull men that ignited this,remember back in mid 2000 when Ayrow AUN ,his best freind Godane and few other men were hiding in Mogadishu from the raids of the warlords in hunt of wadaads these young men managed to put an organisation so effectiv in short time it changed whole somalia to this day,captured 1/2 of the country,then chased out in few weeks right..


but what

LETHAL INSURGENCEY started..in matter of few months afrikas most brutal and relentless insurgency started,,in 2 years Zenawis forces was giving no chance to breathe,and almost got crushed,daily clashes in Mogadishu ,ambushes every gobal and tuulo etc...and aftermath the boys came back stronger than even before,you can see todays situation...


Now what


If Ethiopia tries again,militancy in somalia only multiplied in thousands last 2 years..bleive this time it will multiply in hundreds of thousands..

dont come with this nac nac..face the reality..it gets harder in somalia,no softer for outside enemy,,and thanks to outside interference and failed politics ,militancy in somalia is spreding like wild fire in somali,,and its dangrous ..must think twise before you fukk with it
