this is being exaggerated. besides, i know for sure a good number of women chew khat too and the ones that are garoob fak fak tooda ayaa badatey oo waa headache socda so they have no one to blame for their garoobnimo. this somali men/khat link waa coincidence and a scapegoat.

I think 80% is way off the mark. But it is an increasing number. Those women are not garoobs, most of them actually remain married to these khat-addicted men.

These kind of statistics are straight up bull. But why ban khat? why should the state babysit grown people? if somali's abuse the drug, it's their own fault. Even if it's banned, people will find ways to use it.
