Why do older Somali men get jealous of younger ones with....

Beards.
Well developed beards, not that stunted growth of baby hair or even worse those patches of jareer islands on the cheeks that most bearded Somali guys sport. I might be joking a lil bit about it, but I'm serious, I sense the frustration walahi.
Especially the wadaads are big time haters if they have a facial hair growth that can be challenged by an Asian teenage chick and when they see a younger Somali guy with a nice beard, they get more bitchy than Shaniqua. I tried to greet one wadaad with the noble greeting of Salaamu Aleikum, and he put my hand in my face and said: talk to the hand! This was during a Muxaadaro about respecting your fellow muslim brother.
Twice a year, after Eid prayers in the morning and the entire Masjid is hugging each other as usual, I always somehow leave the Masjid with bruises.
What to do with this classic example of Haters? I dunno.

<= 19 years old, only shave once a month.
My dad had the same problem, it only took off around ~23. He can grow an Osama-like beard, so i'm not afraid

I have to shave or trim my beard once a week. Its the Ogaslabe genes

I don't get this whole obsession with beards, it doesn't make you a better muslim or anything for growing a beard, it's very odd to judge people's imaan by something they can't control.

They are Sri Lankans indeed. I think u look so unique, since the 30% of Sri Lankan blood, combined with the Arab-look alike fish appearance can be a killer.
