These somali generals have all been gathered by the international community to looks towards resurrecting somalia's own professional armed forces.

Some of them are facing court cases due to the war crimes they committed.

Hopefully these veterans were the ones that served our country well rather than destroying it. Somalia def needs a strong military apparatus just like the one in Pakistan. Any Moryaan or Sheikh that goes astray should be delt with accordingly.

Pakistan is not a bad example. In a manner of speaking, all of Somalia's successful governments have been military. The colonial sequel was a foreign institution that really didn't last long enough to count.

I think it is worth making the point again that these taxi drivers and security guards are some of the last national officers left. It could be a good thing for them to be empowered.
