Starting with "Asalamu Aleykum"
the first time properly an American president said that in his speech.
then quoting the Quran three times, properly the first American president to do so.
Full of a lot of idealogies of peace, unity, respect for all people, brotherhood, speech that makes you reminsce great ppl like Martin Luther King, JFK, Gandhi and Mandela.
One of the best speech obama give so far, defusing and disarming world tensions, instead of escalating it.
appreciating the Muslim world's contribution to the world in science and arts inventions, and calling for the exchange of education and economic ideas instead of war and hate.

then ending it with "peace be upon" prophet muhammed, jesus and moses! he acknowledges that jesus is a prophet.

-btw this speech wasn't meant for Americans to here, that is why it was Aired, at 4-5am in the morning. lol!

it was a very good speech but i just hope he didn't just say all those things for the sake of saying them, i hope he really means it.

He was well spoken alright. However, talk is cheap I really hope he meant everything he'd said in his speech esply the palestine and israelis situation.
